Zipper Clock

Here’s a project that will get some attention from onlookers – The Zipper Clock! Cool and quirky, this is one wall clock that absolutely wants to solicit a few smiles!

All 3D components were created with the Vectric Aspire software. Software features that came in particularly handy while creating this project included Create Shape From Vector, Two-Rail Sweep, Copy object along vectors, the Drawing and Node editing tools, Smoothing, and Add draft to model.

The finished clock is about 1.5″ Thick x 9.7″ Wide x 16.6″ Tall

If you go ahead and create this project, then it would be great to see a photo of your finished piece over on the Vectric Forum. Alternatively feel free to email us a picture of your finished piece at online@vectric.com.

build their own cnc’s and I was confident that I could
tackle a project of this magnitude."
